SeaBot Maritime is announced as MUKS Future Skills Award finalist

The inaugural Maritime UK Solent Awards celebrates the region's outstanding maritime sector.

The team at SeaBot Maritime are delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Future Skills category, sponsored by ABP Southampton, at the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2022.

The awards were hotly contested as the Solent's region's maritime industry is the base for many maritime sector businesses and organisations.

Gordon Meadow, CEO of SeaBot Maritime comments,, "I am thrilled that SeaBot Maritime has been shortlisted for such a prestigious award. It is crucially important to nurture the passion and confidence of the next generation by supporting professional skills development."

He continues, "I extend heartfelt congratulations to our team, who are committed to delivering best of breed service, technological innovations and developed solutions valued by customers worldwide."

The Solent is one of the most significant and most innovative maritime regions worldwide, creating £7.7 billion GVA per annum, being 25% of the Solent’s total GVA, supporting 198,500 jobs directly within the region.

The Maritime UK Solent Awards' distinguished panel of judges represent a variety of industry backgrounds, both nationally and regionally. Award winners will be announced in October at an awards ceremony being held in Portsmouth.

Stuart Baker, Managing Director at Maritime UK Solent said: “We are thrilled to announce such strong finalists for the Maritime UK Solent Awards. The quality of the submissions was outstanding and showcases the Solent’s world-class maritime sector."
