The Advanced USV Operations - Live Mission Training is designed for certified remote operators with suitable maritime experience and qualifications to operate at BVLOS. This week long course develops practical capability and the opportunity to experience and conduct real USV missions from a Remote Operations Centre (ROC).
This advanced operator programme focuses on mission planning, rehearsal and execution with live remote operations deployment using professional systems including a range of USV platforms.

Delivered through a structured combination of hands-on operation, mission rehearsal using simulation and Remote Operations Centre (ROC) watchkeeping. This week long programme includes live on-water operations, developing the practical confidence, situational awareness, and operational decision-making skills required for advanced maritime missions.
As an integral part of the remote operations team, you will participate as a professional remote operator, standing a watch under the guidance of a highly experienced mission team.

Participants gain hands-on real-world experience operating LOS and BVLOS missions from a ROC using Marine AI’s Guardian control system and Zero USV operational platforms throughout the programme.

By the end of the course, participants will have gained genuine operational experience and the confidence required to support larger, more complex remote and autonomous maritime operations.
