SeaBot Maritime wins the Maritime UK Solent Future Skills Award

The SeaBot Maritime team was thrilled to be invited to attend the inaugural Maritime UK Solent Awards 2022 event, held at the Leonardo Hotels Grand Harbour in Southampton.

And even more so, to discover that we were selected as the Winner of the Future Skills Award for the pioneering e-learning conversion provision to our longstanding customer, SBM Offshore.

Graham Barnetson, CFO of Red Funnel, hosted the event, commenting, "The maritime sector is the foundation of British industry, and nowhere is it is more apparent than here in the Solent."

"We have the widest breadth of world quality maritime businesses and organisations and it was a real privilege to spend the evening among such exceptional people representing the depth and breadth of the region’s maritime expertise and capability."

"The quality of the applications was exceptional, and was a true reflection of the amazing talent that we have here in our region. And it is evidence that our claim that the Solent maritime cluster is world-leading is more than perfectly placed."

From all of us at SeaBot Maritime, we wish to extend our congratulations to all the winners and those shortlisted. In addition, many thanks to the Maritime UK Solent team, comprising Stuart Baker, Lorna Wagner, Alison Taylor, Maz Garside, Hayley Griffith and Helical Productions."
