Gordon Meadow

Chief Executive

Gordon has over 30 years’ experience in the maritime sector. He is passionate about creating impactful learning. He is Chair of several skills councils, an international speaker championing the crucial role that people play in the industry’s important people technology partnership. He brings broad maritime sector experience, expertise in learning and development, and has a particular focus on the application of digital learning tools in the industry. He is a Chartered Marine Technologist, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST), chairing the Special Interest Group on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS). Gordon leads the business, building relationships, providing client guidance and designing learning solutions to client needs. He enjoys spending time with his family, sailing and is an on-call firefighter for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue.

Ifor

Ifor Bielecki

Chief Operating Officer

Ifor is an operations and change management professional. He brings experience of developing Sea-Kit International – a ground breaking unmanned multi-purpose trans-ocean survey vessel, for ocean floor mapping. His prior experience as programme portfolio manager for a major airline enables SeaBot Maritime to apply Aviation operation and safety learning to our work. He holds an MSc. in Air Transport management. Ifor leads the development and design of our solutions. In his spare time, Ifor enjoys sailing and dinghy racing with his family.

Ifor Bielecki

Jon Feaver

Head of Training & Competence

Jon is an experienced navigator, Master Mariner, and RN SpecN with 20 years experience at sea. His special interest is in the development of new marine technologies with a particular focus on operator training. He’s keen to ensure that our training effectively supports the operator during the introduction of this new technology and associated ways of working; enhancing the people-technology partnership and providing the skill sets necessary to support Maritime 4.0. Jon leads our training team in the development and delivery of impactful learning. When not at work, Jon enjoys spending time walking and recently joined the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team, supporting those who might need assistance on Dartmoor or the surrounding areas.

Steve Brunton

Steve Brunton CBE

Chairman & Defence Advisor

Steve is a maritime professional with a portfolio of change and procurement experience, across defence and enterprise. He spent 36 years in the Royal Navy rising to Rear Admiral and the MOD’s Director of Ships Acquisition where his remit was building UK warships including the HMS Queen Elizabeth, the Type 26 and Batch 2 River class patrol vessels. In 2015, Steve formed Adjuvo Associates, providing direct support on leadership, development and management of complex programmes and their associated strategies, including advising the Canadian Government on its National Shipbuilding Strategy and the Australian DoD as part of an Expert Advisory Panel. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and is a Trustee of the Royal Navy and Royal Marine Charity. Steve guides the direction, growth and governance of SeaBot Maritime, and provides guidance on opportunities in the defence sector.
